Say Things
www.saythings.org

spoken word pieces with original FLASH movies to better represent the intent of the performance artists featured each quarter.

AT&T Worldnet
www.att.net
Scope: Responsible for a partial design refresh of the portal page and full design of second tier pages. Architecture documentation for a system to allow the in-house code team to create third and fourth tier pages. This was a challenging project because timing considerations made a process that had simultaneous design and programming paths.
Description: Worldnet is a heavily used portal for members of the AT&T Online community. The architecture allows each member to customize which, of the dynamic information and placement, they want to see on their portal page, at any given time.

CBC
www.cbcsubro.com
Scope: This corporate site had not had a redesign or new functionality for over 6 years. TightWire created a site that appeals to CBC's clients (the insurance industry) and is a resource for industry peers.
Description: Users are encouraged to personalize the Portal Page to reflect the weather in 3 cities of their choice. A future iteration of this Portal will allow users to personalize the news, stock quotes, sports scores, and will allow timely, individualized messages from CBC to thier clients.

One of the requirements of the branding was to incorporate the Rhino presence, to show the tenacity of the company to follow through on collections, but also to preview a subrogation software that will accomodate client claims. Previously this character was represented by a cartoon Rhino that did not really communicate the strength they needed to get the message across. A redesign of the character and a motion graphic treatment accomplished a stronger use of this concept.

Programming and functionality

AT&T iAdvantage Training
Scope: This was a major redesign of a robust training site. By using Flash ActionScript functions to read XML files, the redesign allowed this business division to retro-fit 1,750+ legacy HTML pages with a new interface and enhanced usability, without rewriting existing content or code. It now includes dynamically generated navigation, and a glossary function and full documentation. The architecture is now designed in such a way that when a refresh is needed for the look and feel, only graphics will change -- not the programming.
Description:The site is used to tutor Large Business customers to analyze their business communication usage. A refresh of the site was required, but the size of the site made it appear to be a daunting task that was postponed and was discouraging new sales. Security considerations made it necessary for internal managers in each department, to do the retro-fit themselves. This required Tightwire to supply a simple process, training and documentation, to ensure the project's longevity.
